Punk typography was made with scissors, glue, and a photocopier set too dark. These fonts inherit that method: mismatched letters, blown-out edges, and a refusal to align on anything. They still carry the charge of a xeroxed show flyer stapled to a pole, which is why zines and band merchandise keep coming back to them.
