Information

Blaacck is a distinctively condensed display serif created for Aaron Levin and the AACC rebrand by Black[Foundry]. Based on Vesterbro Poster, the typeface was enhanced with ball terminals, tighter spacing, and increased contrast while retaining boldness. Inspired in part by Herb Lubalin, it includes ligatures, ornamental punctuation, and features a tall x-height and thin accents for super-compact typesetting. It also has a set of arrows, alternates, and fractions. Blaacck is made for striking headlines!
