Gelica

Gelica is a soft serif typeface that will remind most of Cooper. In truth, the family owes more to Goudy Heavyface and Ludlow Black, particularly in the concave serifs. Dave Rowland wanted the design to be friendly, not cutesy, and usability was always the prime concern. A helpful weight range with italics was a must, too. This is a display face, first and foremost. But, with a bit of tracking, it works well at smaller sizes for longer text, supporting a more exuberant titling font.
