HWT Bon Air is a Mad Men-era advertising script for streamlined cars, exotic destinations, and boutique motels branded as resorts. Trademarked in 1961, it was one of the last new designs cut by Hamilton until the museum revival this century. Richard Kegler had only photographs and rubbings on which to base his digitization. A photostat proof was found after the project was finished. Bon Air was revived from the past, but it’s just as effective as a foil for the future.
