Information

IvyJournal applies the principles of both Roman inscriptional capitals and classic metal types like Bembo, Baskerville, and Times New Roman to a contemporary workhorse serif. It was initially meant for the IvyStyle type system. However, Jan Maack’s vision gradually changed throughout its development until the design became a standalone family. This versatile, elegant alternative to overused text faces feels equally at home in a book, a magazine, or an office.
