Information
Falconer is a revival and adaptation of W. A. Dwiggins’ unpublished typeface Falcon. It blends historical sensibility with contemporary functionality to bring a deliberate, literary tone to both text and display typography. With moderate contrast and sturdy serifs, the roman performs well at smaller sizes, while the calligraphically informed italic adds warmth and personality. Falconer is a versatile font family and lends a distinct, classical voice to books, magazines, journals, and advertising.
