Proxima Nova Tamil (2025) was designed by Vaibhav Singh and Alessia Mazzarella of Typeland for Mark Simonson’s well-regarded Proxima Nova. One of the official scripts of the Indian Republic, this sturdy Tamil script family offers designers a well-proportioned, low-contrast option that complements the original Latin while preserving the distinctive integrity of the script. Available in eight weights — Thin to Black — this growing family is poised to become increasingly popular worldwide.
