From Nonpareil Type

Rilke is an original design by Jerry Kelly in the transitional style of Baskerville and Bell. Though transitional alphabets are among the most widely used today, appearing in everything from advertising to fine book work, original designs in the style are surprisingly scarce. By contrast, renaissance roman styles have attracted numerous modern interpretations, alongside the perennially popular redrawings of Garamond, Caslon, and others. Rilke fills that gap with a complete family: Book with quiet authority, a graceful Book Italic, useful small caps, and a refined Display version of both.
