Cordelia is a bold, condensed sans serif with a rugged, handcrafted quality across three distinct textures. Impactful and vibrant, the Cordelia family draws inspiration from covers of “cordel literature,” small booklets printed on coarse paper, typically featuring woodcut illustrations and lettering on the front. These booklets were sold on the streets, in marketplaces and town squares, and hung on a cord — therefore, the name “cordel.” Ideal for music posters, book covers, and packaging design.
