Information
Xylo Sans is a textured, gaspipe-style sans serif. The letterforms are based on a typeface from the Miller & Richard type foundry circa 1911. Useful for anything needing something more rough and ready. The wood texture adds a sense of the outdoors and nature. It could also be used to inject a little ruggedness into food packaging, magazine spreads, movie posters, and book covers.
