Locator

From Process Type Foundry

Locator is a sans serif family designed for both text and display. Originally started as sketches for the Typeface: Twin Cities’ competition, it has a range of six weights with italics that are marked by a horizontal emphasis, limited detail, and a refined presence. Special attention was given to the capitals for display and titling work and extending that range even further is a caps-only companion typeface, Locator Display. The stroke weight and cap-height of each match for easy pairing.

Locator Display picks up where Locator left off – a family whose name tells it all: these fonts are for large sizes. Covering stylistic ground that Locator could not, these fonts function on their own as contemporary display fonts or as rich headline companions to the standard Locator. The core set of structural DNA is shared between the two families, as well as the stroke weight and cap-height for easy pairing.
