Information
Beckenham is a distinctive serif font family designed by Les Usherwood in 1971 and the initial digitization was performed by P&P Hickson exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection. The family was digitally engineered and produced by Steve Jackaman in 1992. The font is available in four weights. The x-height of the ‘light’ weight starts off quite short, and increases significantly through the medium and bold weights, reaching its peak with the extra bold. Beckenham is suitable for text sizes and offers a humanist, bookish feel. This font family is ideal for use in headlines, textbooks, advertising campaigns, and annual reports.
