Information
Gargoyle is a serif display typeface digitized by Steve Jackaman (ITF) for the Red Rooster Collection in 2001. Based on an Adrian Williams design from circa 1976 and influenced by Brook Type, a 1903 design by Lucien Pissarro for the Eragny Press, Gargoyle blends early 20th-century British typographic elegance with modern refinement. Its distinctive character makes it ideal for book covers, editorial design, and formal invitations. The family includes three weights: Light, Medium, and Bold.
