Les Usherwood, the renowned type designer from Typsettra, passed away unexpectedly in 1983, leaving behind several unfinished type families. In honor of his significant legacy, Steve Jackaman suggested to Usherwood’s widow, Elsie, that the new type style be named “Lesmore.” Jackaman digitally engineered Lesmore, adding several new weights to the family. Lesmore is a solid sans serif typeface that combines subtle curves, exuding both style and elegance. Its versatility makes it suitable for virtually any project, a testament to the enduring influence of Les Usherwood.
