Information
Roller is a decorative typeface known for its tall ascenders. It was originally created for Face Photosetting in London during the early 1970s. Pat Hickson (P&P Hickson) redesigned and expanded Roller into a complete typeface family exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection. In 1997, Steve Jackaman produced the full commercial digital versions of this typeface. Roller is based on Carlos Winkow’s ‘Iberica,’ which was designed around 1942 for the Spanish foundry Nacional.
