  Information
Wells Grotesque is a sans serif display typeface designed by Hal Taylor and digitized by Steve Jackaman (ITF) for the Red Rooster Collection. Inspired by H.G. Wells’ 1898 science fiction novel The War of the Worlds, it features bold, geometric letterforms with a modern, industrial aesthetic. The family includes multiple weights, each offering small caps, old-style figures, and alternate glyphs. Wells Grotesque is ideal for headlines, posters, branding, and logos where a strong visual impact is desired.
