IvyGrotesque

IvyGrotesque is a distilled homage based on the Stephenson Blake Grotesque No. 9 from 1906. When designing this typeface, the more eccentric details of the original were gently reined in to deliver an even tone while preserving warmth and character. To achieve a coherent look throughout the masters of the family, Stephenson Blake Grotesque No. 7 was used for the Thin Compressed master. These typefaces are built on space-saving principles, ideal for visually layered typographic layouts, such as magazines, posters, and book covers. To further stylistic flexibility, a handful of alternates are included. IvyGrotesque is available in three widths and six weights, with italics, and a variable font supporting three axes.
