Information
Panta Display is a serif family inspired by W. A. Dwiggins’ hand-lettered book jacket design for Gargantua & Pantagruel. The family carries a warm, literary, and confident mid-century spirit and is filled with typographic niceties such as small caps, old-style and lining figures, and dramatic italics. Shaped by subtle asymmetries and lively curves, Panta is a comfortable read in long-form books, but has the editorial style to work in magazines, where personality is welcomed.
